Paver Patios & Walkways

Paver patios, walkways and steps with real base work underneath — built for Indiana winters.

A paver patio or walkway is only as good as what's underneath it — and in Indiana, that's everything. We build on properly excavated, compacted base with drainage designed in, so the surface stays flat and tight instead of heaving, settling, or sprouting weeds through the joints after the first hard winter.

The visible part — the pattern, the stone, the crisp edges — is what you notice, and we take that craftsmanship seriously. But the excavation, base, and compaction beneath it are what decide whether it still looks that good in ten years. We treat both halves as the job.

That foundation work matters more here than almost anywhere. Central Indiana's clay soil holds water and our freeze-thaw cycles push hard on anything set on a weak base. Cut that corner and pavers move; build it right and the same patio shrugs off winter after winter.

We handle the full range — patios, walkways, steps, borders, and pool decks in pavers or natural stone. Edges are locked with proper restraints, and joints are stabilized to resist weeds and washout so the surface stays clean and true.

We also maintain and repair existing paver work — releveling settled areas, re-sanding joints, and cleaning and sealing — to bring tired hardscape back and keep it lasting.

Built for Central Indiana

Why It Matters Here

Central Indiana's heavy clay soil and freeze-thaw winters are brutal on hardscape built on a weak base — pavers heave, settle, and trap water. We excavate and build the base to handle that cycle so your patio or walkway stays flat and tight through every Indiana winter, not just the first one.

Our Process

1

Excavate

We dig to the right depth and shape the grade for drainage.

2

Base

Sub-base and bedding go in and get compacted in lifts.

3

Lay

Pavers or stone are set to pattern with clean cuts and edges.

4

Finish

Joints are stabilized, edges locked, and the site cleaned.

Frequently Asked

Do pavers hold up better than poured concrete here?

For many Indiana yards, yes — pavers flex with freeze-thaw movement instead of cracking, and a single damaged one can be swapped without redoing the whole surface.

Can you fix a patio that's already settling?

Yes. We relevel settled areas, re-sand and stabilize joints, and clean and seal to bring existing paver work back.
